New Jersey Small Business Development Centers (NJSBDC) Technology Commercialization Center
The Technology Commercialization Center is a specialty services program of the NJ Small Business Development Centers of Rutgers Business School and is co-sponsored by the NJ Commission on Science and Technology. It assists entrepreneurs in commercializing their new technologies, financing and building their science and technology based businesses. Its three areas of activity include:
TECHNOLOGY HELP DESK- 1-800-432-1TEC(832)
* Telephone counseling throughout the commercialization process, from startup to market entry and equity financing.
SBIR/STTR TRAINING AND PROPOSAL ASSISTANCE
* Conferences, seminars and workshops promoting SBIR as the best source of risk capital for developing new technologies and as a pathway to equity financing * Assistance in identifying suitable topics and help in preparing grant proposals * The Center helped NJ entrepreneurs win more than $2 million in awards in 2002 and will surpass that level for 2003
